On September 25, 2025, The Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment) held a Change of Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) Ceremony, marking a significant moment of transition in Regimental leadership.

The ceremony recognized the dedicated service of Chief Warrant Officer Matthew Colbeck, who handed over the appointment of Regimental Sergeant Major to Chief Warrant Officer Rupinder Kambo. Members of the Regiment, the Regimental Association, and guests gathered to witness the passing of responsibility and to honour both leaders — one for his steadfast mentorship and commitment, and the other as he steps into the role with pride and purpose.
