Fallen comrades

Major (Ret'd) John McLean Magwood, QC, LLB, LLN, SJD,
Pasted away in Collingwood at the age of 96. He was called to the bar in 1936. He joined The Lorne Scots around 1942, served for a while at the Canadian Army (Basic) Training Centre in Brampton. In 1943 he went overseas, where he served with the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF) in England and Europe, retiring as a Major in 1945.
Garnet Parker
Pasted away at the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington 21 March 2009. She was the wife of the late Captain Elgin Corlett, and mother of Major (Ret'd) Tom Corlett.
