It is with deep sadness that I advise of the passing of Col Art Kemp, CD on 7 Feb 2015. He will be sadly missed. Col Kemp was an active supporter of the Lorne Scots. He began his military career as a cadet in 1929. He served in the Lorne Scots becoming a sergeant before taking his commission. Col Kemp served overseas during WWII. After the war he continued to serve with the Lorne Scots becoming the commanding officer in 1957. He was appointed HLCol in 1981 and HCol in 1982-1988.
