Lorne Scots on training

The Lorne Scots Regimental Association meet the first Wednesday of every month (Sept-Nov & Jan-Jun) at the Shepherd's Crook in Georgetown. We would like to invite association members to come out and meet with the executive and fellow members following the meetings. Time: approx. 20:30 hrs

Brampton and Georgetown Unveil Afghanistan Plaques

2014 marked the end of the Canadian Armed Forces mission in Afghanistan and the communities in Brampton and Georgetown paid tribute to the veterans of Afghanistan. In separate ceremonies the Lorne Scots were presented the honour of having their sacrifices immortalized on the Cenotaphs at the Brampton War Memorial and the Georgetown War Memorial. Several Afghanistan veterans from the Lorne Scots were asked to participate in the unveiling during Remembrance Day ceremonies this year.
